Declan started guitar lessons today and really enjoyed it. Husband went with him and said that he did well once he felt comfortable with the instructor(who I heard from both was GREAT!) She gave him a good bit of homework and a few more items we need to get started. She told Declan that if he practices, he will be playing songs in no time. He was very excited about that, and then she told him that playing Guitar Hero, did not count as practice for the day:)But she did tell him that playing Guitar Hero would help him with the REAL guitar. She asked him to pick two songs that he wants to learn to play and that would be where they start. Any two songs he wanted, that made him happy.
He seemed really enjoy it. I hope he keeps up with it!
