We had a morning at home, a slow crabby-kid morning at home. I am not glad Killi was sick, but it was nice to have the morning at home with the kids. With a doctor's appt ahead of us in the afternoon, we all got dressed(if you saw us I am not sure it could be called that:)and headed out. The appointment was for Declan's 7 yr well check. He is good, growing well. As a bonus, because all the kids were there, and the office was slow, they all go to have their flu shots! Yes, it was great fun. They were so excited about their shots and in the end it only cost me three webkinz as bribes:) Yes, I do resort to it when needed and today, with sleep deprived mommy and monsters, it was needed. We then stopped in at the pool to pay for the big birthday party next weekend.
We are supposed to have a soccer game in the morning, but rain is threatening, so we can sty in until church. And because we did a good job eating in this week, we will treat ourselves to dinner out tomorrow night(nothing fantasy,the kids asked for Carlos:) So, a cheap dinner out!
Best news of the weekend though- Sunday is the last night of swimming until January!! I will be able to sty in the house the ENTIRE DAY! Yes, not to leave at all! I am so excited!
