Blogging Fun...

I will admit that I have become a Blog junkie. I spend way to much of my very little free time reading people's blogs. I love to see what's going on in other people's lives, it is like people watching by reading(and people watching is one of my favorite past times:) I have come across some incredible blogs, some that have changed my life, others make me laugh and some that make me cry, but some I find are just so fake, like many people are, because no one can be that perfect ALL the time, I know because I come close(hahaha:)and even I am not that perfect. This experience as been really fun and I hope it continues. So, if you come across a great blog, let me know so I can check it out!

Family Gardening

We spent the day gardening, again. This time mulching. 35 bags and many hours later the mulching is done. I am so happy with the way the yard looks. After a few years(once everything is established)it will be so nice. Three more projects left for outside then I get to enjoy all the hard work. Tomorrow I will plant our grapes and get moving on one more new bed to fill with sunflowers and daisies for cutting. The last project will be my backyard bed, I don't spend much time in the back( I am too nosy:) so that is on the back burner. I just want the front to be done before we go on vacation.

I did have lots of help today though with Ben and all three kids offering a hand(haha). They really did help. Declan and Killi practiced a little soccer too, so that was good and they are tired, which is good too:)


Before I go, I saw on Nate's Blog that Tricia is not feeling great and could use some special thoughts and/or prayers if you've got them. Make sure you check out their story if you haven't. They are an incredible family:)

HUSBANDS!

Today, not the best day for me and the husband. He is pissing me off. When he doesn't get way on things he is mean and pouts. Who wants to deal with that when you already have three monsters that do that all day. Bottom line here: Husband want a new car; Wife thinks it is not going to save us money so why buy? Husband got mad and hung up on wife:) Oh well, I guess we will continue this fight until I give in and end up in a new car that he yells about me not keeping clean! WHY! WHY DOES HE NOT JUST LEAVE MY CAR ALONE!


*A side note on this, his temper tantrums are almost as bad as our Three year olds, and she is one tough cookie:)

Money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to tell you that I spend more time than anyone I know stressing out about money. I stress when we have it, stress when we don't, I stress on payday because then I have to pay bills and stress on the off week because it is not payday:( I need to find a way to stop stressing about it. It always works out in the end; bills get paid(on time), we vacation(often) and have more than anyone could want for. So, why the stress? I am not really sure. It is the one are of my life where I am yet unable to relax in. I guess I will keep trying:)

A Nice Day...

I had a very nice birthday. My entire family called(at different times) and sang Happy Birthday to me. It was awesome! I got up, slowly and made my way into a shower and over to Dr Tom's and Lowe's, then to Carlos for lunch with my favorite kids in the world:) I got my fried ice cream for my birthday and I was happy. I came home, unloaded my goodies from Lowe's and got a visit from our babysitter who is the most wonderful babysitter ever and I think the only teenager I have ever liked, since being one:)and I am not just saying that because she brought me beautiful flowers for my birthday:) After a short visit with her I went back to gardening.


Now, Ben and Declan are at soccer practice, Killi is watching TV, dinner is cooking and Maggie and I are resting on the couch.

AND...

THE BIRTHDAY IS HERE!!!!! I am a year older:) And wiser(if possible:)


My Dad called me at 12am exactly to wish me a happy birthday! That made me happy. A good way to start the birthday!!!

2 New Members of The Family...

I was feeling like our house was a little empty with 4 fish, a guinea pig and our Newfie, so while we were at the pet store picking Gus up from a much needed bath, I bought the kids 2 more guinea pigs! Yes, that brings the total to 3 guinea pigs, 4 fish, a Newf and a kitten on the way:) Friends, family and husband think I am crazy as I am the one that cares for all these animals along with the kids and husband and new garden I am trying to get going:) I guess I like the craziness. Oh well, I will be done school soon and will need to fill that void and what better way than with animals:)
